October

Happy October! Fauvism is up and all the color looks so beautiful. 5 paintings sold today: Elizabeth sold 2, Susie sold one, and Anne Parker sold 2! Hopefully, you all have noticed that if you cursor over the paintings now that you will see the details about each painting without having to click on it! Cecile and I are working towards all the suggestions that we have discussed and will keep you posted on what we are able to accomplish.

We have created the invitation for the show on Oct. 26. It is being printed and will be in at the end of the week. We will be blasting everyone on our list by email, but also mailing and distributing the Postcards. I mostly have emails, but do have some addresses. I can either give you each postcards to send with a personal note to your people or you can send me a list to send out to! I will send the list that I have by the end of the week so that you can cross reference or add to!

Stems is very sleek - white walls, modern and I think will showcase the art beautifully. Since all the works are unframed and you can not use nails- I have been experimenting with how to display the art. I have found fasteners (that are easy to remove) that I am going to adhere to the back of the paintings and then I am going to use a natural twine to hang from the rafters. This is probably hard to picture, but will look great - I promise.

I have sent the press release to the Post and Courier, Charleston Art Mag, Read Charlie, and the City Paper. We also have an ad in Skirt this month, check it out when you can!!

More to follow!!
