Goodbye Irene

Glad Irene is passing us by...hoping for the best up North.

We had some sales this week- Zach's Aerial Charleston, Ann Keane's Daffodils, Lynne's Dancing Orchids, Elizabeth's Summer's Last Gifts, Susie's Violets in Pot (not on site this month).

I have been researching sites all week for the show. There were a lot of no- go's for one reason or another. So far, my favorite 2 venues are Stems on Coming Street. It is very sleek, slick, minimal furniture, white walls. You hang from beams. Sally King Benedict and Lulie Wallace just had shows there and they had great reports. They are not availble on the 30th, but they are available Oct. 6 and 7 (one more week- would help with planning at this point!!

The other spot is a condo on Pitt St. in the Old Village right by the Post House. The Red Cross had a show in one of them- great light and it is empty. The realtor is all for it and was checking with the owner to see if it would work and he is supposed to be getting right back with me.

How is everyone's schedules the first week of Oct. if we were to push back a week?

We are scheduled to meet on Sept 7. Let me know if this date works for everyone and details will follow after!!
