Update

Hi! Seems like everyone is having a busy November! We have had 5 local sales in the last 24 hours. 3 of them wanted to see the paintings so I made arrangements. So, that is good people are making contact. 3 are gifts that I know of! There were 2 issues with Paypal (one personal and one mystery) so those people are mailing checks. I am researching the issues. The solds will be reflected on the site by morning.

"Circles"are due on the 22nd. Let me know how you all are coming. Don't stress about the theme! It can be a pick-up truck, sandollars, oranges, boobs, bubbles or someone thinking about boob and bubbles. (making sure you are all still reading).

Everett is having a weekend festival event Dec. 3, 4 and 5th called Action Art around the Island Gallery. He is inviting artists/artisans to demonstrate their craft throughout the weekend. Creative Spark is participating with some theater. He is inviting the Collective to have a display of some of their paintings starting Friday evening at the gallery. This is the same night as the lighting of the firestation, so there is always a big crowd on the Island. We were trying to figure out the best way to tie the mission and direction of our group into this festival and thought it would be a good opportunity to have the collective paint a scene on Sullivans for this show. This is optional, but think it would be great to have each of you contribute a painting from the business district, a marsh scene or a favorite Sullivans spot. Everett will let the paintings hang all Dec. with information about the Collective. I will send more specific info in the morning. Just want you all thinking about participating in this.

Also, we need to chose paintings for NY. I would like 4 to 6 unframed from each of you if possible. I can chose from your archives or let me know if you have others that you would want me to chose from. I will make individual contact with each of you regarding this. I will need to pick have them from you by Dec. 1.
